I ordered ahead since I only had a 30 minute lunch and I got a lunch special and a veggie plate... well this plate isn’t gonna help un-big my back bc the portion size and the flavor (don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining about the size of my plate at all) !!! Mind you I’m talking about the veggie plate lol. The fries were very well seasoned and FRESH. I did wait a few minutes for those but I’ll never complain when I’m waiting on fresh food! Cornbread was tasty too!! Service was great, the young lady working the front was friendly. It was kinda busy so I’m happy I called ahead. I’ll definitely be back!! They got a foodie now lol

Come here now! The storefront is modest and unimpressive, but keep going. Inside a disposable container is the most thoughtful, patient and tasty meal I've had in a very long time. Bria greeted me warmly and was very knowledgeable about the menu and the ingredients in each dish. Most popular: Turkey Wing. Braised and smothered in gravy. My goodness, this came right off the bone. So good that I was sad when it was over. I also tried the Salisbury Steak, which was very good, but nowhere close to the Turkey Wing. Collards are excellent, with smoked turkey instead of ham. Yams are fantastic and a great compliment to the collards and meats. I like a little bitter, a little sweet and a lot of meat. Cornbread is baked fresh on the premises is terrific. You can taste the care that this family puts into their food. I was fortunate enough to meet the two sisters who cooked my meal, and they were kind and humble, but proud of their work. Go here now!

Got stuck in traffic on 85 yesterday, found this gem and took a detour! They have a sign that says it’s NOT fast food and be patient lol love it. The food was amazing. We ordered a catfish/Mac plate and the turkey wing combo with yams/greens/mac. They made the cheesiest, most delicious Mac I have ever tasted! 10/10! Highly recommend!!

Food was delicious! It's so hard to find a good soul food spot but this was definitely it! Everything was seasoned perfectly and best Collard Greens I've had besides Grandma's of course. Will definitely be back

I always have a soft spot for a soul food plate. We were craving some soul food & honestly, there are not too many spots here in Gwinnett area that's worth eating at... so for the most part, you have to drive outside of Gwinnett to get good soul food to eat We found this place online and took a chance and oh boy; we were not disappointed!! The food was amazing. The atmosphere was not the best. There was not a setup to eat inside & it was hot inside. I will definitely be visiting this place regularly

The food is ALWAYS delicious, seasoned well and the portion size is consistently large. Service is impeccable. I had the baked turkey wings and double Mac and Cheese . This is definitely THE BEST soul food spot in Metro Atlanta!

First impressions are usually lasting impressions, and I was surely impressed with This restaurant. The mac & cheese had me wanting to smack my mama! The black eyed peas and turkey wing were amazing and the fried catfish was season to perfection and had a crunch that had me wanting another piece to go. I couldn’t even leave the parking lot. It was that good and a nap was needed after it eating all that goodness. I highly recommend this restaurant to those that enjoy southern food. The staff and owner of the establishment was super friendly. Check them out you will not be disappointed.
